All moved in!

For those of you who didn't know, Brady and I just bought a town-home. It's so fun to have a place of our own! We closed on our house last Thursday and moved in on Saturday. We have so many boxes to unpack but we are so happy to finally be moved in. I'll have to post some pics when we get all settled in. I am looking forward to decorating it and not worrying about how many nails we put in the wall and I am so excited to paint it! It will also be nice not to hear scary barking dogs every day. This has been a very stressful and exhausting month and I am so happy that it is over and I can enjoy May. Thanks to all that helped us move, we really appreciate it. It went very smoothly!

Lifehouse and Daughtry

Brady and I were able to go to the Daughtry and Lifehouse concert on Earth day. It was pretty crowded but so much fun. We got really close seats that were by the stage. When the bands started playing, everybody stood up and of course short little me had to stand on my tipsy toes the whole time but I still had a blast.

This is a blurry Daughtry. They did a really good job but Lifehouse definitely stole the show in my opinion. My favorite song that he sang was a cover from Phil Collins, I can't quite think of the name though. Anyways, it was pretty much amazing.

This was everybody behind us. This doesn't really show how good of seats we got but it's the best I have.

This was the very first band that played. They played about 4 songs and did great. My favorite song that they played was "Let It Go". It was so good and they told everyone to hold up a light or a cell phone and it looked really cool!

I think my favorite song from Lifehouse was "Hanging By a Moment", because it was their last song and they put so much into it. I loved every song that they played though. Jason Wade is my second love.

When Daughtry left the stage, everybody clapped and cheered for about 3 or 4 minutes until they came back out and played another song. I was excited when they started playing "Home" but even more excited when they called out Jason Wade from Lifehouse to sing with them. It was my favorite part of the concert!!

Date night with Chels

Chels and I went on a date to Le Nonne. Lol, actually I just went with her while she had to do a school assignment but it was so fun! It's the cutest little house that was made into a restaurant. There was a jazz band playing and we ordered some delicious crepes. I'm pretty sure these crepes were from heaven. The inside had Nutella which I decided is very delicious. I had to order another plate:)

Lost dollar

By the way, I'm not sure why the words look weird on my last post. As Brady and I are laying here on the couch, he pulled out a dollar out of my shorts pocket that I didn't know was there. It's funny because I think I have a dollar in the pocket of every pair of pants that I own. For some reason I'll stick a dollar in there for some reason and then completely forget about it. Just know that the shorts I have on right now haven't been worn for about a year. lol, I could be rich in no time.

Yay for spring!!! I am so excited it's here, spring has always been my favorite season. I love how refreshing and beautiful it is. I love the green grass after a rain storm, I love the flowers that bloom but most of all I love the trees that blossom! So beautiful! I found some fun spring quotes: "No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow." ~Proverb. "Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush." ~Doug Larson. Well I tried to find more, but those are the only two I liked, lol. Anyways, I found some fun spring pictures.

IKEA finds

If everything works out for Brady and I, we will be moving in our new home at the end of this month. We have to just plan like we are moving out even though we aren't sure if it will work out. It is very frustrating. I have been having fun deciding how I want to decorate the new house. I just went to IKEA on Friday and I was looking for something to brighten up the living room. I think I am going to paint it a darker shade of brown. Brady and I just bought a brown sofa and love seat also. So with all the shade of brown I wanted something that would look cheery. I found these fun red items that I think will just make it adorable. The first pic is of the red lamp shade I found. The second pic is of the red cushions I found to go with the couch and love seat. I bought 4 so we could put 2 on each couch. The third pic is the fun curtains I found to go on the window in the living room by the fireplace and the front door. The fourth pic is a floor lamp base to go with the red lamp shade. We also found a red and white striped rug to go in the living room as well.

I want a little Yorkie puppy so bad! Once we move into our new home and we can afford him, we will be getting one for sure! I'm not sure where to look though. Any ideas?

My sister Chelsey did a cute post about all her favorite things and so I decided to do one!

I love my husband Brady. He is my best friend and I love how I can tell him anything and be so comfortable in front of him. I am so greatful for all he is and all he does.

I love Jen!! She is the best, and I am so greatful for her. We have had a lot of good times that I will always remember. She means a lot to me!

I love The Little Mermaid! I love the movie and I love that she has red hair. I love my Ariel night light in my bathroom and my Ariel pillow that my friend Jen gave me.

I love anything to do with the Titanic! I don't know why but I am so interested by all the stories and everything to do with it. I loved seeing all the Titanic stuff in the museum.

I used to love spending the night at my grandma's house. It was my favorite getaway, and I would love it when she would cook and we would watch movies together and they would always spoil me! I also loved it when my cousin's Ashley and Chantelle would come to visit! It was so much fun!

I love my sister Chelsey. I am so grateful to have a sister like her. She has always been protective of me and I love her for it. I love just laughing with her.

One of my favorite memories is New Years Eve when I was little. My mom would make her famous fudge and my sisters and I would sleep in the family room in our sleeping bags and we would watch movies until midnight. At midnight, my mom would get us pots and spoons and we would bang them together and make tons of noise!

Spring is my favorite season! I love the green grass and the flowers and blossoms everywhere, it's so pretty. I love the rain too! There is nothing better then the smell and sounds of a good rain storm.

Friends!!! I love this show because it is so funny and they are all so close. I've always wanted Friends like that where you see them everyday and are a part of their lives like a family and they are there for everything that happens.

Puddy

Brady and I are staying at his parents house for the week because they are in California. We are tending the dog Puddy and we are also house sitting. I feel like I have been getting sick and am in need of a good night's sleep. I can't sleep with Puddy on the bed because he snores and he breathes really loud!! So I carry him out and an hour later he is scratching on the door and whimpers until I let him in. So then I can't sleep again! Any suggestions?

I got married yesterday!! Brady and I had a wonderful wedding day! It was so beautiful, and we had so much fun with everyone. Thanks for everybody for the support! Here are a couple of pics I got from my friend Alison and a couple from Chels.

I am engaged!!! Yep, it is official. It happened Saturday night at the Gateway in SLC. We ate a nice dinner and then we walked by the fountains and sat down and we talked and he knelt down on one knee and took the ring out of his pocket. It was amazing and I am soooo excited. We set a date for June 6 in the SLC Temple. I think it might be a little hectic because we are having the reception the night of because Brady refuses to throw cake in each other's faces the day before. I am sure everything will go just perfect though.

Brady and I went to the homecoming dance last Saturday and it was so much fun. I got to dress up and go dancing! They had 3 different rooms that we could go dance in. One room was like a ballroom way sophisticated type of dancing with big band music playing and one room was like d.j. rap music and the other one was a rockish band. We were in the third one and they did such a good job. After the dance we decided to go be true aggies but we had to squish with a lot of people and the couple to our left would not stop swapping spit and it wasn't even time yet! After we went and got hot chocolate and it was so yummy!
